The Office of University Communications is charged with developing and overseeing SVSU’s integrated communications plan. This plan includes the creation and mobilization of marketing, advertising and media relations strategies under a single vision. Such a plan supports the SVSU’s mission and vision, creates an identity for the university, constantly seeks to enhance the university’s reputation, and informs the public about its successes.
As SVSU's “brand manager,” University Communications encourages all departments and colleges to give careful thought and consideration as to how to best incorporate the university’s “key messages” into college and department-driven marketing collateral and material.
