Students Volunteered at the McNally House
Members of the registered student organization Cardinals for Public Health volunteered at the McNally House in Saginaw last weekend. Students were able to clean and prepare a meal for out-of-town families of patients who are currently staying at Covenant Healthcare. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back to those in need in the community.

OLLI Conducted a Backpack Drive Last Week to Support Foster Care Children in our Community
SVSU OLLI members showed remarkable caring for others with a backpack drive earlier this month. OLLI members were informed the majority of kids in foster care have to transport their belongings in trash bags. At the Feb. 8 monthly meeting, OLLI members were very generous and donated over 300 backpacks, duffle bags and pieces of luggage. The donations were taken to the Ennis Center for Children, Inc.; they were so appreciative of the donations. All of the bags will help local foster care children transport their belongings.
