The Velasquez Lecture Presents The Civility Project
|
Join NPR’s Stephen Henderson and the Detroit News’ Nolan Finley for an enlightening discussion of the role of how civil political discourse formed the backbone of American democracy and why it is important that we bring it back.
Finley and Henderson are respected journalists — and longtime friends — with different perspectives on pretty much everything. The one thing they agree on is the importance of their friendship, which includes a healthy dose of disagreement and mutual respect.
The Civility Project session is made possible by the Velasquez Lecture on Liberty and Free Markets.
