Established in 1966, the Board of Fellows serves as an advisory group for the President of Saginaw Valley State University. Its purpose is to advise the President while also acting as ambassadors for the University within the broader community.
The Board meets twice a semester to receive updates on the University, provide feedback, and counsel the President on matters related to the University and community relationships. In addition to the meetings, the Board also participates in other events, including a Legislative Reception with local and state officials.
The Board consists of up to 30 members, each representing a different industry within the Great Lakes Bay Region, and members serve four-year terms.
