Payment Deadlines

Payment is due by 6 pm on the payment deadline either in-person at Campus Financial Services or online through mySVSU Self-Service. Dropbox payments will not be accepted after 6 pm on the payment deadline. Payment must be made at the time of registration once the payment deadline has passed.

Registration Schedules

mySVSU Self-Service Registration is open to all students Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-10:59 PM, Saturday from 8:00AM - 9:59PM, and Sunday from 9:00AM to 10:59PM except as noted in the exception dates table and priority registration schedules below. 

*Priority registration opens at 7:00 AM during the start of the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter registration cycles (see schedule below for more information). 

Disclaimer: Registration for Spring/Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Winter 2026 will be available during weekends and most holidays*. However, there will be no tech support or help during these periods. Such assistance will be available at the start of the workweek at 8:00 AM.

*Registration will not be available over Christmas holiday break.

In-Person Registration is open to all students during regular business hours and follows the priority registration schedules and exception dates table.

DO – Doctorate, SP - Specialist, GR - Graduate, TC - Teacher Certification,  SR – Senior, JR - Junior, SO - Sophomore, FR – Freshman

Registration is unavailable both in-person and on mySVSU on the following dates due to data and tuition processing.

Online and in-person registration will remain available through late registration for the semester.

Students registering for the first time starting the first day of classes must pay the non-refundable late registration fee.

Important Notes

• REGISTRATION TIME: Determined by total credits completed and does not include credits in progress or credits for courses numbered below the 100 level. Officially evaluated transfer credits are included in your completed credits. You will not be allowed to register before your first scheduled registration time. New undergraduate students must register through a new student orientation program. Contact Admissions (989) 964-4200. New graduate, teacher certification, and current freshman student who have zero credits completed should follow the appropriate alphabetical schedule.

• WAITLIST: Students have 48 hours to register for the waitlisted course once they receive the “Waitlist Enrollment Notify” email. Waitlist course availability will end the Wednesday before classes start.

• SCHEDULE AND BILL: No printed class schedules or account statements will be mailed. Confirm your class schedule by going to "My Class Schedule" within mySVSU's Self Service/Registration section after you register. Confirm your account balance by going to "Account Summary by Term" within mySVSU's Self Service/Financial Profile section.

• LATE ADD: Students who are already registered may add courses in person with written permission of the instructor during Fall and Winter through the following dates:
