Annual 2021 Art in the Legislature Exhibit

Advanced painting students, Jessica Hodges and Austin Kemp, had their much larger-than-life-sized, "Self-Portraits," accepted for showing by the Michigan Legislature for the Annual 2021 Art in the Legislature Exhibit in Lansing, Michigan. The exhibit will run from October 2021 through September 2022.

A reception to honor the students and their artworks will be held in October at the Senate Binsfeld Office Building, Lansing. This special exhibit shows selected paintings from all college-level art departments in the state that are exhibited for one year in various government office buildings in Lansing. The selected artworks by these two S.V.S.U. students have appeared previously on display in the University Gallery and Arbury lobby.
