Professional Practices Committee (PPC)

PPC is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on matters of promotion, tenure, sabbaticals, serious discipline, discharge, and terminations. The committee is comprised of six faculty members, two deans, and the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs or their designee. For promotion, tenure, and sabbaticals, specific formulas are used to evaluate faculty members, as described in the Contract. Details of the criteria for all PPC actions can be found in section F2 of the Faculty Contract.
