Campus Facilities Green Campus

Campus Facilities is committed to adopting policies that will lead us toward a more sustainable campus.  Being more sustainable will help lower our carbon footprint as well as ensure that we do not change the environment in any way that would hinder future SVSU students from meeting their own needs while they are here.  We would also like to show that sustainability does not have to be a life changing commitment.

Examples of sustainability on campus:

1. There are recycle bins in all of campus housing as well as throughout the main buildings.
2. The Pioneer Hall renovation and addition earned a silver rating for green building.
3. The campus's first carbon footprint has been completed.
