Winter 2006
Location:
Saginaw, MI (private residential facility, not open to the public).

Together With Friends is a non-profit housing corporation providing housing for people with physical disabilities.  These panels were installed in their residence for disabled adults.  Since it had not been decided if the panels would go in their children’s or adult facility, we decided to depict college students.

Medium: Acrylic paints on four shaped plywood panels.
SVSU Art Students Involved: Art 499 Mural workshop: Erica Kowal, Howard McLean, Benjamin Robinson and Cole Swinehart.

The colorful and cheerful painted panels depict four Saginaw Valley State University students of notable academic and extracurricular success who are physically disabled.
