You have found a new passion. A passion for discovery, research and ultimately answering the age old question, "why?". We have opportunities for you to pursue this new passion with your own research, helping faculty with theirs, and resources to help you through this process. And, when you're ready, we hope you will consider sharing some of your experience and knowledge with others.
This program will not run in 2023.
Applications are accepted each spring for Team Leader and Teacher Assistant positions. These are paid positions for high school and college students strong in math and who are eager to share their passion with younger students.
SVSU students previously participated in summer research with the Dow Science & Sustainability Education Center. Each project was closely aligned with the Saginaw Bay Environmental Science Institute (SBESI) and related to the Saginaw Bay Watershed.
