Research: SBESI researchers and student mentor area high school teachers and students in the design, implementation, and analysis of watershed environmental studies

SBESI researchers and student interns will mentor area high school teachers and students leaders in the design, implementation, and analysis of watershed environmental studies.  The accumulation of new and meaningful scientific data will offer important insights into the environmental dynamics of the watershed.  High schoolers and their mentors will gain new environmental analytical experiences transferable to secondary school curriculum.  Experiences gained by high school participants are intended to encourage higher education in STEM related majors
