There are opportunities in Programs of Distinction all along your undergrad journey at SVSU. UGRP and The Wolohan Fellowship are just two examples.
The Wolohan Family Foundation developed the Richard V. Wolohan Fellowship in Leadership and Service, to encourage students to demonstrate the kind of community leadership that characterized Mr. Wolohan’s life.
The SVSU Undergraduate Research Program (UGRP) supports the university’s value in academic exploration and achievement by providing opportunities for our undergraduate students to participate in hands on research experiences in a variety of unique and meaningful ways. The program funds four distinct research grants including: UGRP faculty-led grant, UGRP student-led grant, UGRP student-travel grant, and UGRP mini student-led grant.
