SVSU offers all courses and advisement necessary to prepare a student for entrance into a graduate-level physical therapy program offered at several universities. Students may complete a bachelor’s degree at SVSU and subsequently pursue a graduate degree in physical therapy at another institution.
Any major may be chosen at Saginaw Valley State University to apply to a graduate physical therapy program. However, since the entrance requirements for physical therapy schools do vary, the following courses subjects serve as minimum prerequisite courses for most schools. Consult with the Pre-PT Advisor to choose an appropriate major and course of study. The most common major at SVSU for students later applying to a PT program is Exercise Science.
