RN to BSN Advisor

Hello, my name is Mason Kochanski, and I am SVSU's RN to BSN Coordinator and Advisor. I am an SVSU graduate with a bachelor's degree in health science, and I am continuing my educational journey at SVSU pursuing my master's degree. 

During all four years of my undergraduate schooling, I served as the student assistant coach for the SVSU men's basketball team.  I was a member of the Health Professions Association and served as a mentor for the Pre-Health Freshmen Mentor Program.

I also worked as a student employee in the College of Health & Human Services dean's office assisting the previous RN to BSN coordinator. 

I have a passion and drive for helping others and seeing them accomplish their goals. It is my pleasure to work with registered nurses and nursing students who want to further their education and obtain their BSN degree.  

SVSU has a capable team that works together to guide, teach, care for, and mentor our students. Each step of the way, we will be there to help you plan your schedule and register you for classes. We will go above and beyond to help you accomplish your goals; the sky is the limit! You can do this!

We strive to work with registered nurses and nursing students to develop an individualized program that will allow students to obtain their BSN degree while balancing their work, school, and personal lives and succeeding in all their educational endeavors.
