Women with service mindset to be honored with Drum Major Award

Three women who have dedicated themselves to advancing equality and community service will be honored with the Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major Award for Community Service. Moira Branigan of Bay City, Anita Jenkins of Midland and Joyce Seals of Saginaw will be honored during the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Celebration, which will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. at Saginaw Valley State University.

SVSU hires Noel Hornbacher to serve as VP for Administration and Business Affairs

Saginaw Valley State University has hired Noel Hornbacher to lead the university’s financial operations as vice president for Administration and Business Affairs. He joins SVSU following a national search and will begin his duties on January 30.
