See Deep Brain (SeeDB) is a technique recently developed by a team of researchers at the Riken Institute in Japan. The original technique effectively cleared brain samples so that those with the right type of microscope could image GFP samples thicker than 4-5mm.
piSeeDB is our processing technique that will allow thick section imaging in paraffin-embedded brain tissue with Immunohistochemistry.
iSeeDB is our processing technique that will allow thick section imaging in fresh brain tissue with Immunohistochemistry.
Information about our new approach to clearing tissue will be published soon.
