The Distinguished Service Medallion
The Distinguished Service Medallion is the most prestigious volunteer service award presented by Saginaw Valley State University. It recognizes the University's most active and effective non-employee community members who have demonstrated their commitment to SVSU through leadership on boards or committees, fundraising campaigns, advocacy, and/or other special University initiatives.
One or more recipients are selected by the SVSU President with the support of a leadership committee chaired by the Vice President for Development.
