Audiences in the Great Lakes Bay Region will be able to see his play on stage at Saginaw Valley State University Wednesday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, Feb. 25.

Poetry readings, musical performances, and prize ceremonies are just a taste of what is to come during the Theodore Roethke Poetry and Arts Festival, a triennial celebration of the late Pulitzer Prize-winning poet from Saginaw. Sponsored by Saginaw Valley State University, the festival venues will stretch across the Great Lakes Bay Region from March 23-28.

The student staff of Cardinal Sins, a student-run literary arts journal at Saginaw Valley State University, have seen their hard work rewarded with a top national award. The American Scholastic Press Association honored the publication with its Most Outstanding University Literary-Art Magazine for 2017. Only two college journals nationwide are selected for the award.
