JOB SUMMARY:
Work as a Graphic Designer on multiple projects; also may assist with phone, deliveries, clerical, customer service, and/or general labor.
This is an excellent opportunity for Graphic Design students to gain on-the-job experience for a future career
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The student must be organized and able to accept art direction and critiques in a fast-paced office setting. Must be responsible for designing a project from concept to finished product. Must work accurately, pay close attention to detail and be open to suggestions and revisions on the part of both the client and University Communications supervisors. Expected to use spell check features on every project and gain sign-off from clients prior to printing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Enrolled in SVSU classes as a degree-seeking student (excludes guest students)
Fall and Winter: at least 6 credit hours each semester
Spring / Summer: at least 6 credits total or be pre-registered for at least 6 credits for the upcoming Fall semester
Prior training as a graphic design student on a Mac in the Adobe programs listed above.
