Pamela Oberski

Pam currently serves as the VP of Global Financial Accounting & Reporting, with leadership responsibility for numerous critical processes and 100+ employees across every geographic region. Pam’s leadership helps ensure Dow maintains excellence and compliance in all its reporting/accounting requirements in each country Dow does business in, all built on the foundational knowledge she received during her time at SVSU.

Pam is a highly successful and inspirational leader who actively seeks out fellow SVSU alumni to mentor and guide them in their career development. Her dedication to supporting and uplifting others has made a significant impact on the professional growth of many alumni at Dow.

Pam joined Dow in 1995 in the rotational program and since then has held positions of increasing responsibility. She has spent much of her career in Controllers, excelling in all areas of accounting. She is currently Vice President, Global Financial Accounting & Reporting. In this role, Pam leads a global team responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate financial and statutory accounting, corporate reporting, and external reporting across Dow’s global network of 250+ legal entities. She also has oversight for the Mumbai Global Accounting Center as well as M&A and special transactions that require research and specialized technical accounting. On August 15th, 2024, it was announced that Pam will assume the role of Vice President and Corporate Auditor for Dow effective November 1st, 2024, one of the most prestigious leadership roles in the profession.

Pam is a lifelong resident of Saginaw County. She has been married to Bob for 27 years and they have two grown daughters, Makenna and Meghan.  Pam attributes much of her success to the foundational learning she received at SVSU along with a strong work ethic instilled in her by her parents.
