Tyner Awards are presented annually in three categories--fiction, poetry, and nonfiction--to work nominated by faculty in the Humanities: Art, Communication, English, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, and Theater.
(Note: Papers written for General Education courses in these departments should be submitted for the Braun Award in the General Education category).
Judges decide whether submitted work meets the standards for the Tyner awards.
