Camp Infinity

Camp Infinity introduces girls to computer and internet technologies through hands-on activities.  A one-week summer technology camp for girls entering grades 5th-8th in Fall 2020. Cost: $100.00
Program Dates: June 22 - 26, 2020.

Chief Science Officers

Be the voice for your school.  Bring STEM opportunities to your peers and change to your community!  Go through a Leadership Training Institute that teaches about networking, leadership development, verbal and written communication, and team building.  Then attend cabinet meetings throughout the year and implement an action plan for your school!

Girls Who Code - This camp is full.

Free after-school clubs for 5th-8th grade students to use computer science to impact their community and join our network of supportive peers and role models.  Explore coding in a fun and friendly environment.

SMEK Senior

Students 5th-8th grade join the fun for full days of hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics activities!  Cost: $145.00

Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow STEM Opportunity Camp

This FREE camp is a 4-week long day camp for rising 7th-9th grade students of partner schools who are looking to reinforce fundamental math concepts. Application Deadline: May 2020

Teen Science Café

Teen Science Café out-of-school programs are a free, fun way for teens to explore the big advances in science and technology affecting their lives.  Teens and STEM experts engage in lively conversations and activities to explore a topic deeply.

WeCode - These camps are full.

WeCode at Saginaw Valley State University is a FREE one-day weekend boot camp for beginners who would like to explore basics of coding using Sphero Programming. Our main objective is to encourage everyone to try out programming and explore the possible opportunities in the field of Computer Science.

The WeCode will include...
•    Hands-on activities to understand the programming concepts
•    Learn the concept of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages using Speros. This opens their ability to build a website, an app, or a robot.
