Student Involvement

Advice was offered that “as a commuter campus, the institution must develop ways of encouraging students to become more involved in campus life by recognizing the importance of their participation in campus activities, committees, and decision making” (p. 38).

SVSU has made substantial strides in increasing student involvement, as will be discussed in Chapter 6, Campus Culture.
