Newly Admitted Student Password Information

Prior to accessing any technology services at SVSU for the first time, you must reset/change your password. Use the following instructions to do so.

Step 1

• Access the following website:  https://www.svsu.edu/changepassword/
  Change your password with the information provided in the Technology Access Information letter you received in the mail.
• Make sure to take note/remember the new password you create.

Step 2

• Go to Cardinal Direct at  http://cardinaldirect.svsu.edu/
• Access the Cardinal Direct Main Menu via the "click here" button.
• Click on the "Login" button in the upper right hand corner.
• Enter your username and the new password you previously selected.
• Click on the "SUBMIT" button.
• Click on "Prospective and Current Students".
• Click on "My Profile".
• Review your profile information. If any information is incorrect, contact the Registrar's office via E-mail at registrar(at)svsu.edu .
• Click on the "Logout" button in the upper right hand corner.

You have successfully completed the password change!  Thank you
