With nine 2011 Tony Awards, most would agree that the Book of Mormon was the best musical that year. In fact, The New York Times called it the best musical of the century. From the witty creators of TV’s South Park and the Tony-winning composer of Avenue Q comes the Book of Mormon, a musical parody that follows the hilarious adventures of two dim-witted Mormon boys out on a mission in a far-flung community in Uganda where beliefs, customs, and traditions are worlds apart from what they know. Expect raucous laughter and entertainingly good show music. Please note that the show contains very explicit language. Our package includes main floor tickets to the 2 p.m. matinee, a three-course lunch before the show at the MSU Kellogg Conference Center, and motorcoach transportation.
