1) Every SVSU student who is a pre-nursing major should be checking their email for announcements from "VSpace Student Nurses Association." If you have declared prenursing as your major, you are automatically added to that VSpace site (it will not show up in your tabs unless you place it there. To see if you are a member, go to your VSpace homepage and then click "Membership." If Student Nurses Association is not listed, please email us at nursing@svsu.edu and we will add you. We strongly encourage all pre-nursing students to join the SNA, but you do not have to be a member to be on their VSpace.) The Nursing program uses this VSpace site to send announcements and other communications to all pre-nursing students.
2) There are multiple Pre-Nursing Information sessions held every semester. These sessions are designed to give updates on the nursing program, discuss admission requirements and to answer your questions. The link to this semester's information sessions is 2013 PreNursing Advising (235kB)
3) The nursing faculty hold walk-in advising for pre-nursing students on a weekly basis. Please bring your unofficial transcripts and current class schedule with you. The link to this semester's schedule for walk-in advising is Nursing Advising W13 (280kB)
