The Department of Mathematical Sciences together with the Math & Physics Tutoring area of the Center for Academic Achievement are running these sections of Math 082 in an alternative format, which are self-paced and computer based. For more information, click here.
Students who are taking one of these sections should not buy the same book as the other sections.They also should not buy the book, or open the book and materials for this section, until after the first day of class. Once the package has been opened it cannot be returned to the bookstore for a refund.
In Winter 2013, the alternative format Math 082 class is section 5. It meets in SE 104 from 10:30 AM - 12:20 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays with optional lab time before class, beginning at 9:30 AM, and after class extending to 1:30 PM. You should try to include the lab time whenever possible.

Extra Tutoring Support: Students taking the alternative format Math 081 and Math 082 sections are welcome and encouraged to use the SE 104 lab during any of the open lab hours where tutor support is available, even if it not the day your class is meeting. For Fall 2012 these hours are:
