Welcome to the Math 081-Alternative Format Page

The Department of Mathematical Sciences together with the Math & Physics Tutoring area of the Center for Academic Achievement are running these sections in an alternative format, which are self-paced and computer based. For more information, click here.

In winter 2013, the alternative format Math 081 section is section 4. It meets in SE 104 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 PM to 1:20 PM, with optional lab time starting at 12:00 PM and extending to 2:30PM. You should try to include the lab time whenever possible.

Extra Tutoring Support: Students taking the alternative format Math 081 sections are welcome and encouraged to use the SE 104 lab during any of the open lab hours where tutor support is abailable, even if it is not the day your class is meeting. For Fall 2012 these hours are:

SE 104 Open Lab Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9:30 - 10:30AM; 12:30 - 1:30PM; 2:30 - 3:30PM

 Students can also get help outside of class and lab time in the Math & Physics Tutoring area in the Center for Academic Achievement on the second floor of Zahnow Library at any time the center is open. (For Math & Physics tutoring hours, go back to our Home page.)
