P2P applications blocked include, but are not limited to: directconnect, earthstationV, edonkey, exeem, furthurnet, kazaa, napster, pando, share, soulseek, warez, ares, bittorrent, blubster, gnutella, groove, hermes, peerenabler, pplive, qq, thunder
Note that SVSU used to block IRC. However, in January 2012, improved scanning now allows IRC communications while still blocking P2P and malware.
