MSHAL Advisory Board

The advisory board for Master of Science Health Administration & Leadership (MSHAL) consists of 18 members from health care related organizations and the SVSU community. The advisory board was created in order to get input from our external stakeholders, the individuals that would be interviewing and hiring our graduates, on what we can do to advance our students to be successful healthcare administrators and leaders.

“Our goal is to prepare our graduates to distinguish themselves as healthcare leaders”, states Marilyn Skrocki, JD, MBA, MISM, MSHAL Program Coordinator and an Associate Professor of Health Sciences.  “With the help of current healthcare leaders in the Great Lakes Bay Region, we seriously consider their advice to assure content in the curriculum is designed to meet that goal.  Their assistance in providing ideas for recruitment and professional networking opportunities for our students allow our current students to be successful alumni.”
