Finding a graduate program that is right for you can be a challenge. You have many things to consider including degree offerings, school size, location and campus safety, costs and international admissions requirements.  At SVSU we want to ease the concerns of our International Students.

  • SVSU offers 15 graduate degrees to choose from.
  • All of our programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association along with many other specialized program accreditations.
  • SVSU currently has over 9,000 actively enrolled students with over 700 of them coming nearly 50 different countries. All classes and student housing are within walking distance. Our class sizes are smaller offering individual attention. 
  • We are located in the beautiful state of Michigan in the Great Lakes Bay Region between Saginaw and Bay City. There are many great restaurants, shopping centers, movie theaters, art museums and more close by.

Language Requirements

In addition, applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate competence in English. Acceptable TOEFL PBT, TOEFL IBT and IELTS scores vary by program (see GPA and language requirements).
