A complete University experience includes the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills. The Living Leadership Program is a program for incoming freshmen who will live on campus. Students chosen to participate in the program live and learn together in a residential community. Freshman year theme is “emerging leadership” and activities include:
This program requires an application process, participation in a three-day Kickstart Camp in early August and attendance at a range of leadership development activities in the freshman year. The program can last as long as four years with a year focused on mentorship and remaining years around experienced and lifelong leadership.
Jeff Domagala, (pictured, right) South Lyons High School (2007), is a recent SVSU graduate (secondary education, theatre / communications major).
