Financial Need-Based Scholarships

The following scholarships are available to students who demonstrate financial need (additional criteria may apply). Students are encouraged to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid on an early basis for consideration of these awards. In addition to the FAFSA form, a separate application is required (in most cases).  The award of these scholarships is made by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid and subject to the availability of remaining funds.

Criteria

  • New Freshman/ Undergraduate
  • Community Service
  • Saginaw County HS Graduate
  • Extra Curricular Activities
  • Min 2.75 HS Grade Point Average
  • Churches
  • Financial Need with preference to Pell Grant ineligible students
  • Leadership
  • Enrollment Requirement: Full time
  • Must earn 2.50 GPA in Fall semester to be eligible for Winter semester

  • Major in Education, Political Science or Sociology
  • Minimum HSGPA 2.50
  • Financial Need
