Scholarships for Returning Students

A number of scholarships may be awarded to qualified students by SVSU departments in freshman, sophomore, junior or senior years. Students are encouraged to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid on an early basis for consideration of these awards. In addition to the FAFSA form, a separate application is required. Applications, are available on the forms page.
Field Neurosciences Institute Scholarship for Neuroscience Nursing
Criteria
- Undergraduate
- Returning
- Full Time or Part Time
- Minimum GPA 3.00
- Demonstrate ability or potential to contribute to field of Nursing in general and
neuroscience nursing in particular
- Scholastic achievement
- Demonstrated dedication to and professionalism in Nursing
- Preference to candidates who have served as nurse externs or
as supportive nursing personnel in health care settings that provide care to people with neurological conditions

Earned 60 hours of SVSU credit (transfer credits not to be counted to reach 60) and be within 32 semester hours of graduation

Must be a resident of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, or Indiana

Demonstrated campus and/or community involvement

Be within their first ten semesters of full-time collegiate attendance
