To help assist students with their financial needs, the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid will provide information on federal, state and private Scholarships. Scholarships are a type of financial aid that does not have to be repaid. Scholarships may be awarded based on a students academic, need or both academic and need basis. Students are considered for most scholarships available through SVSU based on admission to the university, submission of a Scholarship Application, and completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form .
