Spring/Summer Federal Pell Grant:
-If a student has already received federal financial aid for the Fall and/or Winter semester, Spring/Summer aid is typically limited to leftover Pell Grant or loan eligibility, if applicable.
-Students who wish to apply for their remaining financial aid eligibility need to submit the Spring/Summer Federal Grant , Scholarship, and/or Student Loan Request Form to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid by the dates indicated.
-Students must submit or must have already submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), www.fafsa.ed.gov.
-The Spring and Summer sessions are the "trailer" semester for the FAFSA form. That is, each new FAFSA form begins with the Fall semester for aid awarding.
-The Federal Pell Grant is limited to two "full time" awards each academic year. Therefore, if you were full time in Fall and Winter, you will not have Pell Grant eligibility for Spring/Summer. If you were less than full time, you may have eligibility. Submit the Spring/Summer request form to see if you are eligible.
