Electrical Engineering Instructional Facilities

Instruction in the EE department is supported by modern laboratories, microcomputers, mainframe computer terminals, a modern library and access to the Internet.

Five individual lab rooms are open to students for projects and are used for instruction in various areas of electrical and computer engineering. These labs include:

  • Instrumentation & Measurements lab (P-136)
  • Basic Circuits lab (P-137)
  • Power Systems/Machines lab (P-214)
  • Control Systems/Robotics lab (P-220)
  • Microprocessors/Computer Design lab (P-221)
  • Electronic Communications lab (P-223)

All engineering students have access to the Computer Aided Engineering Lab (P-226) and a number of other computer terminal labs across the campus (e.g., P-212).
