SVSU Science and Engineering Symposium

                        8:30am--4:00pm, Friday April 26, 2013, Pioneer Hall

 

Scope:   This annual symposium features the work of SVSU students and faculty. The student work can be of several types, including student research and design projects, special course work projects, or other original work. Examples of student research and design projects include independent study research projects, engineering senior design projects, and extracurricular projects like the Formula SAE Racecar. Examples of special course work projects include laboratory independent projects, extensive research reports, literature reviews, etc. assigned to an entire class. Faculty are  invited to present their reseacrh either through posters or oral presentations. Faculty are also invited to organize a special session such as a panel discussion or workshop. The symposium is open to the public.

 

Format:   The symposium will be organized like a professional society meeting. It will feature a plenary lecture from 9:00 -- 10:00am, followed by oral and poster presentations.
