Copyrighted videos may disappear from Youtube
YouTube.com, the Web site that has grown popular because of its wide range of video content, may have to eliminate a large portion of its videos in the near future. With copyright infringement lawsuits potentially looming, YouTube will either have to gain permission from record labels, film companies, etc. or be forced to remove copyrighted material from the site. This could mean no more James Blunt videos readily available to watch online. What a shame.
Carlin to come to Saginaw
Comedian George Carlin will perform at the Temple Theatre in downtown Saginaw Thursday night. Carlin, who ranked second on Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand Up Comics of all time, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $34 and $28.
New to DVD Oct. 24
Monster House and Nacho Libre highlight this week's DVD releases. Also premiering on DVD this week are the horror-comedy Slither and the complete series of the short-lived sitcom That's My Bush created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park fame.
New music Oct. 24
Tomorrow, new music from My Chemical Romance, Montgomery Gentry and Sparta will arrive on shelves. Also set for release is Once Again, the second album from Grammy Award-winning John Legend.
