Minors in possession

• A non-student was found passed out in a parked car on campus Sunday, Oct. 25, and received a minor in possession citation.

Students from Living Center North found the man in his car in J-3 Lot. They brought him to their room and called the police.

The man has a family member who lives in the Townhomes. He will not be allowed back on campus.

• Four minors in possession in Living Center South were issued citations Friday, Oct. 30. The resident assistant on that floor received a noise complaint around 12:30 a.m. and found alcohol in the room. Campus police were dispatched, and the students were given breathalyzer tests.

• An 18-year-old male received a minor in possession citation on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 12:25 a.m. The resident assistant at Living Center Southwest could smell alcohol outside the student’s door. Campus police gave the suspect a breathalyzer test, which he failed.

Larceny

• A laptop was stolen from a room in First Year Suites on Monday, Oct. 26. The room was unlocked and when the student came back the item was gone.

An investigation is ongoing.

Tickets issued

• A driver was pulled over with a car resembling a stolen one and received a ticket for driving with a suspended license.

On Tuesday, Oct. 27, University Police stopped the vehicle at the corner of East College and Collins drives. The driver was told to park his car. A warrant for his arrest will be sought.

Suspicious behavior

• On Tuesday, Oct. 27, a student reported a male stalking her in Zahnow Library.

According to the report, every time the student moved and set her belongings down, the male would do the same. She returned to her Townhomes apartment and called the campus police. Officers found the male and told him to stay away from her.

Property damage

• Two hit-and-run incidents with parked cars were reported this week: one in the E-lot and the other in University Village. Both parked vehicles had damage done to their bumpers.

• A campus street sign was damaged during the Women’s Expo on Saturday, Oct. 24. The sign is on the corner of College Drive and Davis St.
