Athletic Department hosting first 'Cardinal Cabaret' fundraiser

Saginaw native and current Miami (Ohio) men's basketball coach Charlie Coles will be the guest speaker at the first annual Cardinal Cabaret.

The event, which benefits the SVSU Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund, is scheduled for Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Curtiss Hall Banquet Rooms.

The cost is $50 per person, and all proceeds benefit the Fund, which helps young people participate in intercollegiate athletics and develop life-long skills and relationships.

The evening includes live and silent auctions, a casual strolling dinner, raffles throughout the night, and live entertainment by Brother to Brother, a jazz ensemble of Saginaw youth.
