Officer Ashley Christie was hired in June as the department's newest patrol officer. Christie is a recent graduate of SVSU and also ran track and field at the University.

Redshirt freshman linebacker John Jacobs loses his helmet as he takes down Gannon running back Jon Richardson in the backfield on Saturday. The tackle was one of Jacobs' seven tackles for loss, which included three sacks.
