Explore the wide range of scholarships offered to Saginaw Valley State University students. Scholarships are a type of financial aid that does not have to be repaid. To be considered for an Academic, SVSU Private or the SV Red & White Award, students must be admitted to the university and completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. For those also applying for a SVSU Private scholarship, they must also complete the Scholarship Application.
Scholarships are available to graduating high school students based on academic merit. Students who satisfy the academic criteria will be considered for a scholarship upon admission to the SVSU. Academic Scholarships are based upon a tiered program with the most prestigious listed first.
Over 200 scholarships are available to newly admitted and returning SVSU students. Complete your on-line application form, and based upon your responses, you will automatically be considered for any scholarship in which you qualify.
