Complete this Credentialing Course for the Use of Physical Agent Modalities and Earn the Professional Designation of CPAM.

The Physical Agent Modalities Practitioner Credentialing Agency, Inc., LLC (PAMPCA), has designed a continuing education course in PAMs for the busy therapist. PAMPCA, LLC, is the ONLY credentialing agency in Physical Agent Modalities for OT practitioners.

You do not have to set aside multiple weekends to complete your credentialing training in physical agent modalities. Instead, you learn via the Internet in the comfort of your home or in small study groups and attend only one 16-hour workshop and complete supervised clinical work. Our successful graduates are awarded 45 contact hours of continuing education credits.

  • Part 1: Online Coursework (20 hours to complete including taking module tests)

  • Part 2: Two Day Weekend Workshop (16 contact hours)

  • Part 3: Supervised Clinical Application of PAMs (supervision by either an OT or a PT currently certified to use physical agent modalities in their state)

    • 10 Thermal applications (4.5 hours)
    • 10 Electrical applications (4.5 hours)

Checklist Hands-on Workshops

Allow about four weeks to complete the 11-lesson web-based portion of the program (estimated at about 20 hours). Then attend a hands-on, instructor-led 16-hour, two-day workshop. The workshops meet from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.


Qualify for a Discount! Send three or more from the same company, registering at the same time, and each receives $50 off the regular fee, paying only $545 each.  

NOTE 1: For any Discount, we can not go back and apply credit for registrations already completed 

NOTE 2: For any Discount, we need all registrations to call at the same time, if all registrations for the discount are not received within 48 hours, the registration(s) will not be processed.


Please note:  LATE REGISTRATION (14 day or less prior to workshop) will incur an additional $30 late fee to overnight books to your selected address. All Late Registrations must register by phone at 989-964-4048.

PAMPCA'S MISSION

The mission of Physical Agent Modalities Practitioner Credentialing Agency, Inc., LLC (PAMPCA), is to provide a credentialing process that includes the necessary education, testing, and monitoring of clinical preparedness for practitioners who want to use physical agent modalities in their practice. In doing so, the public is able to identify those healthcare professionals who are qualified to use physical agent modalities as part of their routine practice.

PAMPCA,LLC, was established to educate practitioners in the proper, safe and judicious use of physical agent modalities in the treatment of their clients. It provides a process by which all states and territories within the United States can individually define the appropriate education and certification standards for physical agent modalities use. PAMPCA, LLC, then, provides the education, testing and awarding of an initial certification for physical agent modalities use to practitioners. It has created an innovative, structured educational system leading to certifying individuals for using physical agent modalities. This education process is provided through web-based instructional media, a two-day workshop and supervised clinical experience.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Notices received within 14 days or more from the workshop start date are eligible for a refund less a $120 cancellation fee and $55 textbook fee. Less than 14 days prior to the start of the workshop all fees & registration are not refundable. Transferring a registrant to an alternative workshop site is permissible on a one-time basis for a $55 processing fee and is contingent upon space available. We are unable to make transfers less than a week prior to the workshop start date.

Note1: All transfers Workshops must be rescheduled prior to 18 months from the date of original registration payment or credit and transfer fees will be lost.

Note 2: We reserve the right to cancel any workshop for which there is insufficient registration. All workshops will be looked at approximately 30 days before to determine if there is sufficient registration. In the event that a workshop is canceled, registrants will be encouraged to attend the workshop at a different location with no processing fee charged, or will be refunded the amount of the tuition minus a $55 fee for the textbook.

We do send out books within 24 hours of registrations, and are not responsible if sent to registration address, if incorrect unless you contact us and confirm a different address, you will be responsible for any additional postage.
