Spend the weekend among friends and experience Tahquamenon Falls State Park's 50,000 acres and waterfalls. The Upper Falls, one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi has a drop of nearly 50 feet, more than 200 feet across and a water flow of more than 50,000 gallons per second

Instructions
If you are driving, please park in R lot, we have overnight parking passes for that lot if needed. Just let us know when you get here and we will provide you a pass. (See campus map link below for directions). Once you are in R lot, make your way to the Campus Recreation Center entrance and bring all of your gear in at this time.

Itinerary
November 17
Depart campus from the Campus Recreation Center
Travel to Tahquamenon Falls State Park
Lodging at the Tahquamenon Falls Lodge
November 18
Hike the 4.0 River Trail from the Lower Falls to Upper Falls
Explore the trails and relax at the Falls
November 19
Head south to Grayling and hike the Old Growth Forest Trail at Hartwick Pines State Park  
Return to campus

Food and Beverage
November 17
Dinner: Roadside stop along the way (Personal expense)
November 18

Breakfast: Coffee, orange juice, pancakes, and assorted fruit
Lunch: Taco/nacho bar
Dinner: Build your own pizza
November 19
Breakfast: Coffee, orange juice, egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches and assorted fruit

Please feel free to bring any snacks or other items you wish.  When registering please let us know if you have any dietary preferences and or restrictions.

Packing List
Water bottle (min. 32 ounces), warm boots, extra clothes, hygiene items, towel, camera, miscellaneous spending money.  See link for lodging below for details on our accommodations.

*Please limit your belongings to one backpack and a bag similar to an airport carry on item.
