While the Cardinal has long been the mascot of SVSU, it did not have a name. In 2011, as part of Battle of the Valleys, students voted for their favorite name for our beloved mascot. Coop won!
The date auction is also a traditional fundraiser for BOV week.
Victoria is the BOV trophy. She is always welcome in Cardinal Country!
