Scholarships

There are different scholarships that can be awarded to athletic training students. The faculty will assist students interested in applying for any or all of the following:

Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association (GLATA) Scholarships
(available through the NATA Research & Education Foundation)

1. GLATA Living Pinky Newell Graduate Scholarship
2. GLATA Living Pinky Newell Undergraduate Scholarship
3. GLATA Living Memorial Graduate Scholarship
a. Applications are accepted starting Nov. 1
b. Applicants must be members of the NATA by November 1.

Michigan Athletic Trainers’ Society (MATS)

1. MATS Athletic Training Student Scholarship
a. Applications are due by March 31 each year.
