CHANDLER RESIGNS AS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL COACH AT SVSU

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Kim Chandler has announced her resignation as the head women’s basketball coach, assistant athletic director for business affairs and senior women’s administrator at Saginaw Valley State University, effective June 11, 2004. Chandler has accepted the position of Director of Athletics at NCAA Division III Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin.
    “We are thankful and appreciative of the hard work and numerous accomplishments Kim has achieved throughout the three years she has been a Cardinal,” said Athletic Director Joe Vogl. “We congratulate Kim on attaining this position as well as wish her luck in this new endeavor.”
    The process of searching for a Head Women’s Basketball coach will begin immediately.
