The Castle Museum of Saginaw County History celebrates SVSU with a "From Cornfields to Classrooms" temporary exhibit from September 1 to October 31. The exhibit includes the bill of sale that purchased the land, a marching band uniform from SVSC days and other memorabilia. In addition, Drs. Basil Clark and Brad Jarvis be the presenters of the Lunch and Learn program on November 12 from noon to 1 p.m. They will review how the University developed from its earliest conception to the present day. They will share photos and materials from the archives. The Castle Museum is located at 500 Federal Avenue in Saginaw, and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays. Admission is $1, and admission to the Lunch and Learn is included.
